London’s newest immersive experience is about to crawl out from beneath your feet...
Step into the beautifully haunting world of Goosebumps Alive, a chilling modern update of the 90’s cult horror series. Equal parts terrifying and riotous, the hottest ticket in town puts you in the centre of chilling macabre tales.
Given a terrifying makeover from the fiendish minds behind Accomplice (Director), Alice’s Adventures Underground (Designer), and The Tiger Lillies (Music), find out what happens when your childhood fears become your adult nightmares.
Journey through the dark, abandoned vaults under Waterloo and walk the knife’s edge of fright and fun in this spine-tingling promenade show, brilliantly reimagined from the classic tales of R. L. Stine. The only way out is through 19 rooms populated by the denizens of your darkest dreams. Will you meet a killer scarecrow, face the haunted mask, escape from a deranged scientist, or be buried alive—or will you find the real horror lurking deep inside your head?
Go with friends, go with colleagues, or brave the adventure alone, but leave the kids at home—this is the Goosebumps of grown up fears.
MARIA DE BUENOS AIRES
A Tango Opera
Music by Astor Piazzolla
Libereto by Horacio Ferrer
OSKAR McCARTHY and A CURIOUS INVITATION present MARÍA DE BUENOS AIRES - a surreal operita tango with music by the creator of tango nuevo Argentinian bandoneonist ASTOR PIAZZOLLA and words by Uruguayan poet HORACIO FERRER.
Descend into the Vaults and mingle with the lowlife of old Buenos Aires: thieves, card sharps, pimps and whores. The Narrator will relate the story of the maestro of the bandoneon, Piazzolla's muse, María, a prostitute born in the slums “one day when God was drunk … with a curse in her voice.” Maria is seduced by the rhythms of the tango and soon becomes “the most sorcerous singer and lover” in Buenos Aries. But her “fatal passion” arouses the wrath of the languishing Piazzolla, who, driven to madness by Maria’s unrelenting freedom, conspires with a group of robbers and brothel madames to murder her. After her death, her Shadow returns to haunt the sordid streets she once walked, and only then does Piazzolla realise the error of his ways: “Maria is music!” A modern day Passion Play, full of religious allusions and black humour, set to a soundtrack of tangos, milongas and waltzes.
This intimate 90-minute masterpiece featuring an 11 piece orchestra will be presented in the setting of an abandoned carnival. After the performance guests who, like María herself, refuse to depart the scene will be invited to tango into the small hours at our after show party.
6th & 7th May / 13th & 14th May / 3rd & 4th June
Doors at 10:00 pm - Performance starts at 10:30
For those who would like to tango into the wee hours there will be an after party till 2 am

March 31st - April 30th, 2016 - ALL OR NOTHING
NOW EXTENDED TO THE 21ST MAY
ALL OR NOTHING - The 'Mod' Musical is a trans-generational musical experience celebrating the unique sound of the iconic Mod band, THE SMALL FACES. Including an arsenal of brilliant hits like 'Whatcha Gonna Do About It', 'All Or Nothing', 'Tin Soldier', 'Lazy Sunday', 'Here Comes The Nice' and 'Itchycoo Park'.
In 1964, a new phenomenon exploded on to the dingy British streets. It was the essence of all that was cool. It was Mod. Mods stuck two fingers up at the class-ridden society and its dull redundant culture. They were working-class free spirits who rode sexy streamlined Italian Vespas or Lambrettas. The sharpest Mod of all was known as a ‘FACE’. THE SMALL FACES encapsulated all that is Mod, a unique blend of taste and testosterone, neat, clothes obsessed, and street-wise. But these cult sophisticates shared another passion, their dedication to ‘Rhythm n Blues.’
This exciting, poignant, and bittersweet tale is the stuff of Rock n Roll legend. The story of four charismatic young kids whose humour ‘attitude’ passion and, above all talent, rockets them into the ‘big time’; only to discover the path to fantastic success is heaving with exploitation, corruption, betrayal and ultimately tragedy. Their roller coaster journey in the music business is as vivid and colourful as their music. Their raw, soulful music inspired a whole new generation of stars including; Paul Weller and The Jam, Oasis, Blur, The Verve, Ocean Colour Scene, and The Arctic Monkeys. Not to mention millions of fans.

3rd, 10th & 17th December, 2016 - THE DANCE BEFORE CHRISTMAS
The Dance Before Christmas
Be swept away on an adventure to the underground world of
The Midnight Circus
Inspired by Erin Morgenstern's The Night Circus.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As though from thin air, something has appeared in The Vaults. The scent of caramel and cinnamon drifts across me...
We're surrounded by stilitists, acrobaticers and sneaky freaks, they titlate me. It's a concours d'elegance for the eyes.
Room after room opens in front of us. Exquisite zebras dance around us as we sip at our cocktails. A wrinkly madam professes to tell me my propspects, my futures, my dreams. Above the zebras I can see clouds floating down the stairs, we curiously wander up and find ourselves amongst the fluffiest fluff I ever did fluff. I see a door in the distance, it's an amazing maze laid out in front of us. Do we dare?
Minutes, hours, days pass, we'll never be sure. I'm beginning to feel hazy, and suddenly a final door flings open...
I look up and feel dizzy, we're in a dazzling big top! A sea of wild friends are swaying, the room seems to be moving. The music fills my bones with the rhythm of the night.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A theatrical experience, crescendoing in the most wonderful dance to celebrate the festive season in the depths of Waterloo station.
Complimentary Mulled Toffee Apple on arrival for all guests for the first hour.
