Established in April 2014, The Vaults Gallery is an alternative contemporary arts space located off the infamous Leake Street graffiti tunnel. it is a place to escape, discover and be inspired.
The Vaults Gallery presents a dynamic monthly programme of exhibitions that complement the gallery's unique space within the underground world of The Vaults. We support young and emerging artists by offering them the opportunity to experiment in a space like no other.
The Vaults Gallery also offers a fresh selection of limited edition prints available both on site and online.
The Vaults Gallery will be temporarily closed from 14.03 - 05.04 2016.

Every Monday & Tuesday evening 7-9pm - Except Bank Holidays
Expect professional tutors and models in an inspiring and unique space. With poses from 30 seconds to one hour- there will be something for everyone. This will be a general life drawing class with tuition for beginners and advice for those who are more experienced, all designed to encourage you to develop your own style and approach.
No need to book, just arrive and pay on the door.

Join us Underground for Textile Workshops with Nicole Line.
Monday eveningS 7.00-9.30pm
THE WORKSHOPS
The idea is to show local communities how to use Nicole's equipment without being in a professional studio. The workshops are aimed at beginners through to experienced artists and the relaxed environment allows both abilities to mix together and collaborate, sharing ideas, techniques and developing concepts.
The aim is to pass on skills to others and by the end of the workshop those involved will be taught how to use the equipment to suit their needs and abilities. The workshops are for those who just want to try something new, or to pursue a career in the craft.
Nicole has all sorts of people who attend the workshops from students who are wanting to start a portfolio, fashion designers who are wanting to learn a new technique for their collection, business men and women who need a break from their regular routine. The workshops are open to all.
At the end of the workshop participants will have learnt how to use the equipment, where to source the materials, how to set up a studio space at home. Participants will also have a collection of fabric and paper samples and a range of finished products to take home.
