Ancient Grease takes place at The Vaults Theatre. Please note The Vaults has two entrances. This show DOES NOT take place on Leake Street. How long does the experience last?

Ancient Grease is 90 minutes long, plus a 20 minute interval.

Is there a party after the show?

The bar will be open for last orders after the show. Every week Wednesday - Saturday you can head over to Vaulty Towers where there will be DJs after the show until close. Join us there to keep the party going, with 10% off for all ticket holders on that date.

This year, we've taken the iconic, summer-lovin' world of Grease and crashed it headfirst into Ancient Greece, reimagining the storyline and songs you all know and love. You know Danny and Sandy – now meet Zeus and Hera!

The Alphas and Omegas are the studs of Olympus, but they’re going to need your help. After a fateful summer night, Zeus and Hera are destined to become star-crossed lovers - but when the Fates decide to make things rough, Hera will be forced to choose between Zeus’s thunderbolt and her newest, most explosive desires!

As the Gods writhe and the nymphs jive; we invite you to rev your chariot and lose yourself to the swinging tunes of Ancient Grease. It's time to disobey The Fates and show them that integrity is the new sexy.

Step into The Vaults' tunnels and be transported to Mount Olympus. Ancient Grease is an original, parody musical; a loving homage to the iconic movie Grease. Expect songs that are recognisable, but put a hilarious twist on the originals. A celebration of identity, Ancient Grease strives to update the ending to the narrative, proving that you don't need to change yourself for anyone. Featuring adult humour, themed cocktails, and, of course, the Grease Megamix.

Yes! We will have a full bar of snacks and themed drinks available before, during and after the show. For food and drink before and after the show, please visit our pub Vaulty Towers.
