Having sung the now infamous lead to ‘Stand By Me’ at the Royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Paul Lee is renowned for his smooth yet strong vocals. Paul was one of a few soloists to sing with The Kingdom Choir in front of a global audience of over two billion people and his voice has since become the backdrop for broadcasters all over the world. His rendition has been described as moving, emotional and beautifully controlled.
THE LONDON SILK AND BAMBOO ENSEMBLE
The enchanting sound of silk strings and bamboo flutes brings you to China. The Silk and Bamboo (string and wind) group is part of the UK Chinese Music Ensemble – an internationally recognized Chinese instrumental group based in London. Led by renowned pipa (4-stringed lute) player Cheng Yu, with the unique sound of the erhu (2-stringed fiddle), guzheng (21-stringed zither) and dizi/xiao (bamboo flutes), expertly played by virtuosi musicians.
Bianca began studying the harp at age seven in Chantilly, France, and has been charmed by the instrument ever since. In 2019 she completed her Masters degree in harp at Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Distinction and in 2016 she graduated with a First Class Honours degree from Durham University in Spanish, Chinese and Music. She also studied the harp and voice at the Royal Conservatoire of Madrid.
