MINISTRY OF MASKS
12 April - 6 June 2016
Ministry of Masks was conceived in 2012 and grew out of a deep seated frustration with the corporate environment obtained through years of working in the financial sector. Having completed a degree in Product Design at university and failing to find gainful employment within his chosen profession, Tom spent years working as an insurance broker before finally deciding to throw it all in to pursue a more creative outlet. Beginning in a small shed in the back garden of a non-descript South East London house he began sculpting masks in clay and producing plaster moulds of the work to take latex casts from. Four years later and the growing team of artists at M.O.M now produce dozens of different masks for film, tv and theatre as well as for discerning private collectors who purchase the masks for a growing range of uses including; halloween, boutique festivals, masquerade balls, haunt attractions, live action role play weekends, cosplay events and much more…
This exhibition runs alongisde our production of Goosebumps Alive.
