The Tempest

The Tempest
Twelve years ago, cast out to sea on a rotting boat, Prospero and her baby daughter Miranda washed up on a distant island. After twelve long years studying the art of magic, Prospero seeks revenge, and as her enemies pass close to the island, she raises an almighty storm that brings her face to face with the shipwrecked survivors.
Following their own journey, performing in secondary schools and colleges, Foundation students from Bodens College end their tour of The Tempest at The Vaults.
This is an engaging, fun and fast paced production, respecting the original work of William Shakespeare's First Folio, while focusing on accessibility and understanding for modern audiences of all ages.
