BREATHE

NeonELEVATE presents “Breathe” - an original show created by Young People aged 13-25 in response to the question “How would you rebuild our creative future?”

Follow our protagonist Sam as they navigate their way through trying to make their dreams come true - in a World full of creative platforms and potential opportunities what do they need to succeed? Talent, exposure, self-belief or…?

NeonELEVATE was launched in Autumn 2020 by Neon Performing Arts as a prototype for a Youth Company through funding from Lambeth ELEVATE. This ground-breaking project gave a platform for young Lambeth talents as well as Neon to evolve; building on 8 years of partnership work with Artists and Arts organisations.

Their innovative theatre making Youth Company develops original and cutting-edge creative work; whilst giving ownership to the young creatives and developing their employability skills through the multi-disciplinary arts  programme.

The Young People involved in the project were offered fully funded classes in: Ballet, Hip Hop and Contemporary Dance, Singing, Song writing, Acting, Music Production, Art, Costume Design (including Upcycling), Film & Photography, Creative iMedia and Event/Stage Management.
